Industrial Design Portfolio

A compilation of the major design work I have completed. Most projects were completed during my studies at Humber College and some were privately done.

Humber’s thesis project challenges designers to develop a research-driven, evidence-based solution to a societal problem that has a significant impact. The solution must enhance human life by incorporating full-body human interaction, ergonomic and human factor design, while also considering sustainability and social responsibility. This project requires an in-depth exploration of the entire design process, from materials and manufacturing to the use case. It emphasizes the distinction between object-based design and problem-based design, promoting a thoughtful, problem-solving approach to creating meaningful and impactful solutions.

Affix

Working along side the designers at Umbra our group designed a modular organizing tray. Through tedious ideation and concept development the perfect organizer for any bathroom or kitchen was conceived. The product is consistent with Umbras refined geometric design identity.

Barbeque Shelter

A contract job to design and build a small shelter that ties in the yard environment with the structure. The structure was built over a septic tank therefore needed removable panels in the floor. Due to the terrain the build needed to be custom leveled. All materials were sourced cut assembled and invoiced by the designer.

Cradle to Cradle

Cradle to Cradle is a design certification given to products that meet a certain criteria of ecological sustainability. Our group sought out a way to eliminate waste that comes from the coffee industry.
